Aankhon mai unke kabhi nami nahi hoti
Narm dil hain wo unhe shikwa nahi hoti

Entram karte hain wo behad adab k sath
Jinhe meri khaami se bhi gila nahi hoti

Khidmat-e-Khalq ke perokaar hain wo
Koi gheebat or saazish unse Nahi hoti

Pursukoon zindagi he amaal hain unke
Jinhe tableegh mai kabhi shiddat nahi hoti

Umr guzaar di aulad ko naseehat dete dete
Aaj unki koi dua ya dawa zaaye nahi hoti

Unki dehleez pe jana kam hota hai mera
Koi mulaqat baap Beti se kam nahi hoti

Esi koi wajha nahi ki walid ka naam na du unko
Naye rishton ki bunyaad mudlaal nahi hoti

Meri kashti ko doobne se bachaya hai unhone
Aam shaksiyat Ko ye zehmat nahi hoti

Roshan hai zindagi unki tarz-o-tahir ke sath
Warna Har mu’min ko ye hidayat nahi hoti

‘Shireen’ khayal hai tere har ehsas ka unko
Yuhi zindagi andheron Mai anwar nahi hoti
